The RUGlinks Alert System enables you to receive Alerts from electronic journals by Email or by RSS feed.

You can select journals from the Alphabetical list to recieve updates about them.

• You can recieve RSS feeds, by clicking on the button adjacent to the journal of your choice and adding the URL to your RSS Reader program.
  There is an button for links that are still unavailable. Clicking on the button will cause the system to generate an RSS feed for the journal. Add this URL to your RSS Reader program to recieve RSS feeds.
• You can recieve email updates, by clicking on the button.
  You will need to log in after this with your Personnel/Student number.

You can also receive updates for articles that contain specific keywords, are written by specific author(s) or are from a specific institution.
The Alert System will look for your search-words when new articles are added to the list of electronic journals and inform you by email if any of the articles meet your search criteria.

You can also select journals by Subject by looking up a category and subcategory list.

For a preview of the Alert System, you can view a list with the latest updated journals or take a look at random new articles (refreshing the page will give new articles).

You can change your email alerts by logging into your account.
Guests can login to the Email Alerts function with their own email address as a username and using "xxx999" as a password
